Office Spotlight: 1533 California Circle

Studio Blitz designed the office for Northland Controls located outside of San Francisco in Northern California. We were very impressed with their design and reached out to learn more.

What’s the first thing someone would notice in this office?

Someone would immediately notice the warm and airy design.

What does this office say about the company you designed it for?

Studio Blitz 

This design was specifically created to act as a hub for the organization and demonstrate their commitment to their in-house employees as well as those who are representing the company out in the field.

Describe the layout of this office. How does this office design encourage creativity, productivity, and team happiness?

Studio Blitz 

Prioritizing daylight, views and the connectivity of the team was key. Improved communication between departments has been a huge achievement of the space.

What does the space do best?

The space does a great job at organizing the teams within Northland Controls.

What went into choosing the colors and materials for the office’s decor?

Studio Blitz 

We wanted to focus on organic and welcoming materials. It was very important that we not create a sterile and off-putting space.

What is your favorite part of this office?

Studio Blitz 

Although there are many to choose from, I would say the elevated boardroom/stage for all hands presentations.
