I talk frequently about how awesome and humbling it is to be able to fill the SquareFoot office with the best and the brightest, constantly “raising the bar.” I’m proud to be able to share with you some big hiring news.
As we embark on a new year, full of fresh opportunity, I’m thrilled to announce that Jonathan Tootell has joined SquareFoot as our NY Market Lead to help lead us in building out our offerings to clients. Jonathan comes with more than 15 years of experience in the NYC commercial real estate world. He has previously worked at Newmark Knight Frank, JLL, and Cushman & Wakefield. Most recently, Jonathan served as a partner at Transwestern. In his role, Jonathan supervised Agency Leasing in Manhattan. He has worked on repositioning prominent buildings including The Empire State Building, One Grand Central Place, The Old New York Times Building, and 5 Bryant Park.
At SquareFoot, Jonathan will be managing, mentoring, and leading our NY brokerage team. He’ll also continue running deals as clients continue to happily entrust them with their major real estate decisions. We’ll be working on several hundred transactions in 2020 and having Jonathan’s expertise and tutelage at the table will be invaluable.
Some of the most talented real estate veterans are coming to work at SquareFoot to fuse their traditional brokerage knowledge with our vision for the future of the industry. Few people know the NYC market as well as Jonathan does.
