Steve serves as an Executive Vice President for SquareFoot. He advises SquareFoot with respect to our broker automation initiative as Product Lead. He brings with him more than 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, having executed:
- 13+ million square feet for portfolio clients
- 18+ million square feet in domestic transactions
- 1.7 million square feet in international transactions
Steve’s extensive market insight, strategic advising expertise, and full-service approach make him an invaluable partner in client transactions. His vast portfolio of clients includes Apple, Wells Fargo, AOL, GOOP, GOAT, Lulus, Fox, California Resources Corp, Sierra Club, Sony, Dine Equity (IHOP, Applebee’s), Sheppard Mullin, and Nordstrom (HauteLook).
Steve began his career at CRE giant Savills (formerly Studley), spending 20 years there before going to work at Lincoln Property Company. At LPC, Steve was responsible for investment, development, and management operations for the Southern California region. He then went to Cushman Wakefield, where he ran a global tenant representation and portfolio management team of five out of L.A. In 2011, Steve rejoined Savills, serving as co-regional manager of Southern California; he was also on the organization’s Board of Directors.
Fondly known amongst his colleagues as Wally, Steve was born on the East Coast and moved to Los Angeles in his youth. He obtained a Bachelor’s in Communications from UCLA. Outside of tenant representation, Steve has experience in retail and multi-family development.
